As I begin my implementation of the flipped classroom with project-based learning, there are several crucial steps that will need to take place in order to ensure the overall success of my innovative change.

The first step is the development of a clear purpose. Having a clear purpose will not only allow my innovation team to be on one accord because there is a clear vision and end goal, it will also help me appeal to the hearts of my target audience and allow them to gain a better understanding of why I feel the flipped classroom with project-based learning model is much-needed on our campus.

Once a clear purpose has been established, the next important step is to identify the key vital behaviors that will bring about change on my campus. These are important to identify because they will allow my innovation team to be more productive by focusing on only the 2 or 3 most important behaviors our colleagues need to perform in order for our change project to be successful.

Along with having my clear purpose established and vital behaviors identified, it will also be helpful to have a simple, straight-forward systemic strategy like the 4DX model that my team can use to regularly track and measure the progress we are making towards our desired implementation results.

Finally, as I introduce my plan to colleagues on campus, there will more than likely be times when we have to have difficult conversations in order to move the plan forward. To be the most effective during these conversations, my development into a self-differentiated leader who employs crucial conversations strategies during these interactions will help create a respectful and safe environment for all parties to speak openly about benefits, concerns, facts, and opinions

regarding the flipped classroom with project-based learning model.
